Dorstener Laden

Diese Einrichtung befindet sich seit 2006 im Handwerkshof, Dimker Allee 20, in den früheren Räumen der Caritas-Sozialstation [in den 70ern war hier das Informationszentrum]. Über die Anfänge ist ein Artikel in der kath. Kirchenzeitung für das Bistum Münster erschienen, dessen Beginn im folgenden wiedergegeben ist:

Nachschub wird an der Rückseite angeliefert

Nachdem bislang im Pfarrheim St. Barbara ein Mittagstisch angeboten wurde, wird dies seit dem 05.03.2007 in den Räumen der Dorstener Tafel (ehemals Caritas Sozialstation) wo auch der Dorstener Laden untergebracht ist, ausgegeben.

Kunterbunt

Dekorativer Namenszug im Schaufenster

"Kunterbunt" ist der Name des Kinderladens innerhalb des Dorstener Ladens, der seit dem 19. April 2007 gebrauchte Kleidungsstücke Größe 50 bis 167 an bedürftige Familien für wenig Geld abgibt. Geöffnet ist er dienstags und freitags von 14:30 bis 17 Uhr.
Es werden laufend Spender von Spielsachen, Kinderwagen, Fahrräder und Tornistern, ... gesucht.
